Memorial Day Weekend - Ty's First Trip

For Memorial Day weekend Dan and I decided to take the normally 4 hour venture out to La Quinta where Dan's parents live and spend the weekend. Since it was the first time we have taken Tyler on a car trip, it inevitably took longer than 4 hours. Not by much though, but everything is slower with a baby in tow. Dan's brother Tom and his family came from Orange County to spend the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa as well, so we had a party there. We took Tyler swimming for the first time and he seemed to enjoy it a lot, and even more when we went into the hot tub instead of the pool. Luckily Dan is a master swim lesson instructor, so we plan to turn Ty into a little fish. It was a very nice and relaxing weekend that always goes to quickly. Fortunately Tyler slept the whole way home, so that time it was only a 4 hour car ride.











So much more relaxed in warm water...good thing there is chlorine though! 5/26/07
